AI help built for small teams with big missions

Most nonprofits and associations don't need an AI strategy deck. They need their staff to get hours back this month, safely. Here's how I can help.

Nonprofit AI Setup

Built by an ED. Ready in 30 days.

$2,500 flat fee | Works in Claude or ChatGPT

Who it's for

Nonprofits and associations with about 3 to 25 staff who are using AI informally, or want to, but don't have a policy, data rules, or a shared way of working.

What's included

  • Kickoff and discovery: A 90-minute session plus a quick staff survey.

  • AI use policy: A draft tailored to you, ready for board review.

  • Data rules guide: What’s public, internal, confidential, and what never goes into AI.

  • Your AI account, set up: Your mission, voice, and guidelines built in.

  • Email and calendar connection: AI can read and draft, never send.

  • Starter prompt library: 15 to 20 tested prompts for everyday work.

  • Three custom workflows: Built around your team’s real tasks.

  • Staff training: A 90-minute live session, with a recording.

  • Support and results: 30 days of support, plus a two-week check-in.

Founding client rate: $1,500. 2 of 2 spots open.

For two organizations that sign by February 28, 2027, in exchange for honest feedback and a short case study you approve. Ask about it on our call.

How the 30 days work

Week 1

Kickoff and staff survey

Week 2

Policy and data rules drafted

Two weeks later, we check in to help staff make it stick.

Week 3

AI account, prompts, and workflows built

Week 4

Training and handoff

Better drafts. Fewer revisions.

I built this review skill in Claude to help staff improve AI-assisted drafts before submitting them. We now need fewer rounds of revision, and final approval stays with a person.

Process diagram: staff draft, the AI skill flags issues, staff revise, and a leader approves.

AI Advisor (monthly support)

$900 a month for 6 hours | 3-month minimum

For organizations already using AI, whether we set it up together or you did it yourself, and want someone in their corner to keep it working well as AI keeps changing. We start by reviewing what you have. Then use your hours for new workflows, staff questions, policy updates, or training new hires. We meet monthly, and you can email me in between.

Workshops and speaking

A practical, no-jargon session for nonprofit and association leaders: what AI is actually good for, where it goes wrong, and the rules every organization needs, whether staff have started using AI or not. Attendees leave with prompts they can use the next morning and a starter AI use policy template.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to buy anything?

You’ll need an organizational account in either Claude or ChatGPT. I’ll help you choose the appropriate plan and check current pricing, including any nonprofit discounts your organization qualifies for. Software subscriptions are purchased separately and aren’t included in the setup fee.

Why only Claude or ChatGPT?

I go deep on two tools instead of shallow on five. That's how your setup actually works on day 30.

Is our data safe?

We start by setting clear rules for what information staff can use with AI, reviewing the account’s privacy settings, and teaching staff how to check its work. I don’t need your donor, member, or client records to build your workflows. AI instructions support your policies, but they don’t replace staff judgment or prevent every mistake.

Can it work with our email and calendar?

Yes. Your AI account can be connected to your email and calendar so it can read and draft, never send. Staff connect their own accounts only after your AI policy and data rules are approved.

What if our staff are skeptical?

Good. Skeptical staff ask the best questions. Training uses their real tasks, so they see the time savings for themselves.

We're an association, not a charity. Is this for us?

Absolutely. Most of my career has been leading associations. Member emails, conference planning, and board work are exactly where AI helps.

We use Microsoft Copilot or Google Gemini.

I specialize in Claude and ChatGPT. On our introductory call, we’ll discuss what your team already uses, where you need help, and whether adding either tool would provide enough value to justify another subscription. If the package is a fit, we’ll choose one platform and build your setup there.

What’s not included?

Software subscriptions are purchased separately. Custom software and connections to other systems are outside this package. Need another built-in connection? Up to 2 more at $350 each. We’ll choose your platform and three workflows together before work begins.
